“I asked about warming plate. Bought this and plate gets hot was even warm after shut off Is it possible this orginally was made for glass carafe but they only changed the shutoff time. Parrot owners need this info. I cant find out any info”

Thank you for your question. The thermal carafe will take the place of the warming plate. There will be no warming plate with this appliance. Coffee brewed into the thermal carafe will generate heat. Once the brew cycle is complete, this Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker will turn off.
