Just bought it 2 weeks ago and it doesn't brew K CUP side. After cycle finishes producing nothing it leaks onto the tray. Also tastes like burnt pastic. null

I have done that too - you have to make sure to press down on the k-cup insert. They placed a blue label where a push will click it into the proper position.
I haven't noticed any plastic taste. Try the vinegar soak/wash. Pour full-strength or partial vinegar through and let it 'brew' half of a carafe. Let is soak a long while.... half-hour? Turn it back on and let the rest go through. Pour water in for rinse a couple run-throughs. Hope that helps.

You must flip the dial from pot to mug and make sure you don't over fill it. If it's more than a travel mug of water, it won't brew. Too much water and you'll have to make a pot instead.

You need to put water in a mug and put it in water side. It brews what you put in. If you put extra water it will drip out. You also need to not use tap water

i would take it back ..must be something wrong with the switch .. also if you put too much water in for the single side it will do that.. when you first got it did you run it with no coffee just water as they explained in the " before you use"...
