A:Answer This filter filter is permanent, doesn't need to be replaced. Filters are too expensive, thats why I went w/this system. You just vacuum the filter. I actually cut and place a carbon filter over the existing filter. Carbon filters are penny on the dollars, seem easier to clean, Again, just vacuum. Both filter takes 1 minute to clean-no big deal. I'm very happy with this job, does a great job!
