• Yup. It straps around your palm and thumb, so its not going anywhere. Even more true with gloves. I use it for SCUBA and surface swimming and it doesnt budge, even when wet.

• Yes I took it for my first time snowboarding and had no problems at all! It gave a great angle for the camera.

• Yes... had no issues with this coming loose. The only issue you will have is, the straps won’t fit over large ski gloves

• Probably not as stead or as good of a view point. Look to youtube for better inspiration for snowboarding vantage points. I personally recommend a collapsible stick (AFAITH Pole for GoPro) that you can have a follow perspective. As long as you don't feel you'll be falling alot.

• i believe it would. i took it on a super bumpy ATV ride in the forest and didnt notice a thing. the velcro strap is pretty sturdy unless under water for a while. while boogie boarding it came off.
