Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a dual TV tuner, not a recorder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The simple answer is no, not that I can see. This is a converter box that converts OTA transmissions into a format that can be transmitted over your internal LAN. It only has one input, and that is a standard RF connector. The recording is done via software or an AP. There is no way to get AVI format into the box or the SW. You may want to look at an a program like Plex.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a recorder.. it is a networked OTA (Over The Air) HDTV tuner that requires an external antenna (there is also a cable TV version also) and cat5 Ethernet cable and can provide 2-4 (depending in model) TV video streams that can be viewed or recorded by networked devices like tablets, computers, etc.. these streams can also be recorded using software available from Silicon Dust (manufacture of these tuners) or other media software packages like Plex, MythTV, etc.. I use Plex.. it works very well allowing DVR functionality plus the ability to view remotely on your phone/tablet/computer when away from home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will record MP4 files. You would have to get a media player. They recommend using VLC to playback the recoded files. This is public domain. The you can find a converter to translate MP4 <-> AVI files
