• HDHomeRun CONNECT is for Over the Air antenna - we do not have a device that works with proprietary satellite providers

• No this you plug it into your router configure with your computer attach an antenna to it first. You can download their app to a Roku your computer Android TV your smart phone add it to Plex you can watch free TV it has two tuners you can record to your PC or you can use the NVIDIA Shield . Look it up on YouTube you will figure out how to hook it up.Thats how I learned.

• It does not work with DirecTV. I use it with my over the air antenna. There is no fee to use or download the app.
