You need a wired Ethernet connection to your network.

From there, you can access it from anywhere in your home using tablets, computers and set top boxes that run the HDHomeRun app over wifi or ethernet. To get guide data, you will also need access to the internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use Verizon FIOS. My HomeRun is connected by Ethernet cable into my FIOS router. I run a PLEX home server on my Netgear ReadyNas which is also connected by Ethernet to my FIOS router. PLEX immediately found my tuner(s) during the DVR setup within the PLEX App. I didn't attempt to use wifi and don't even know if you can. I also use two amplified indoor/outdoor OTA antennas for older devices that can't access the PLEX app.
