• I have mine mounted on my Harley. I had it up to 90mph and didn't loose my camera.

• Probably, but keep in mind this has the opposite mounting as the GoPro tripod mount. The GoPro tripod mount threads to the screw on the tripod shoe but this one has the screw so will not mount that way. Also this has the 2 tab mount that is made to attach to a 3 tab mount. The GoPro camera case is a two tab that would normally attach to a 3 tab like the GoPro tripod mount is designed for. It might still work but kind of funky.
