Hi curiouscustomer, thank you for your interest in the Hisense HS205. The sound bar comes with an HDMI cable and an Optical cable. You can connect to your TV via HDMI cable, and also connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. You can control both with one remote. We use it as stand alone. It works great with our TV.
