It does and if connected in eARC much better quality sound you will get!

Please try again later.Yes in my opinion it's still will because the t v is not atmos enabled It's the soundbar that has these capabilities the t.V just has its regular sound output.It is the soundbar that adds this new technology to the whole operation.I have the sound bar and it works just fine when I engage it.
