Compared to an 32" Hisense tv, is this 39" tv taller? null

Yes, this tv is taller and wider than a 32 inch television.

Don’t have a 32” hisense but the 39” hisense measures 20.5” tall from top to bottom including the .25” iR remote receiver mounted at the bottom. Hope that helps. This does not include the height due to the stand (add another 1.5”-1.75” if using stand instead of wall mounting).
