Do you have to pay for the apps that come on the tv? null

If you are already a cable subscriber, most of the apps allow your access if you verify that you pay for them through a cable company. Some do not. For "free-range" apps, you usually pay a monthly fee for use - think Netflix.

Only the ones that require a subscription. Other than that you can rent movies and stuff. YouTube is free.
