“Do you have to pair the remote for these tvs like you do the Roku boxes? I'm looking at using two of these tvs in the same room and hope that you have to pair the remotes so if I change the channel with one remote it doesn't change the channel on both tvs.”

It comes with a Roku remote specific for the TV. If you have a cable service box on a HDMI port you will have to pair that remote for sound to work.
