“Will the TVs Bluetooth pair with the same set of earbuds I use with my iPhone? Would it work with something else? Or, would you please guide me in what to purchase and how to set it up? I need to be able to listen with the TVs speakers very low or off.”

Yes you can connect a Bluetooth headphone to the TV with frequency of 5.0, also a soundbar can be connected via HDMI or coaxial cable (digital audio cord).
