Please double check this data. They spread given might be for a larger version than the 50".

The inches of feet spread is actually a few inches wider than for other 50 inch TVs. I actually have this TV and the wider tips can be pulled in to 37.7 inches wide. The first answer is close, but the pic is misleading for 50 inch version.
