“You say it isn't necessary to use a Roku but I have comcast which supports Roku services. Do you mean Roku is included or does it include other services supported by Comcast?”

The TV has android which is different than roku. You can find some apps for some of the services like hbomax app and some others but there is no xfinity stream app for android tv. You can try to sideload it but it's is not easy to use.
