A:Answer The top of your dresser needs to be a minimum of 40 1/2 inches wide and 9 inches deep for the stand legs to fit on it. The the legs are angled, so the front leg (the widest leg) of the stand is 4 inches from the edge of the screen and the back leg is 7 inches from the edge of the screen. If the top of your dresser isn't wide enough, you could buy a standard length 4-foot wooden shelf at Lowe's or Home Depot (if you'd like, sand and stain it to match) and lay it across the top of your dresser.
