Honestly this is such an oversight by the manufacturer. The only thing I found that worked was to plug in some old headphones into the 3.5mm Jack in the back. This stops audio from playing through the internal speakers. Hopefully this helps even if it seems backwards
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have the Roku version (don't know about Android), The audio can be set to "Optical" in the app and that disables speaker output. I used this to install my Sonos Ray bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Weirdest thing happened. I was taking someone's suggestion to plug in headphones and when I did that 3 options came up on the screen: headphones, fixed audio out and audio off. I hit fixed audio out and unplugged the headphones and that did the trick. Weird, right?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Their answer is to turn the speakers down to zero?! That's got to be the dummest thing ever, I cant believe their is no option to disable internal speakers. I have to disable HDMI control cause every time I turn my reciever volume up the tv turns up also, so stupid
