I'm not certain about Hockey but I watched a show with snowmobiles in a race and there wasn't any blur or jitter. I've played high-speed computer games in ice environments where twenty or more others were all moving at once around me and there still wasn't any blur or jitter in the picture. The only times I experienced blur or jitter was when a camera swing was done in a ball game but I think this was due to the motion blur of the camera and not that the TV couldn't keep up. I know looking at the TV in the store was pointless because the signal was too degraded to be of any use in a decision on buying it. I hope this helps.
