Hi Johnbestbuyfn, thank you for your interest in the Hisense 55U6K. This TV does not support ATSC 3.0. Broadcasters have the option to encrypt their streams if they choose to do so. This encryption may be implemented for various reasons, such as content protection or controlling access to premium channels.
