A mount with tilt is better than flat and it has to be mounted at eyes view from where your sitting. If mounted to high and if you looking at it from the side view you will get that glare. Any tv gets the glare from windows and blinds must have curtains to cover the light spectrum from outside.

You will need to go to picture mode, If you’d like to configure the settings for your picture, then there are seven types of picture modes available: Vivid, Standard, Energy Saving, Game, Sports, Theater Day, Theater Night and Auto Mode. For bright lighted rooms, Go to Picture > Picture Mode, and select Theater Day/Theater Night.
