“I have this TV but can't get the volume on the device to control the volume of the soundbar(not hisense). Is this TV CEC compliant? I get sound ARC connected to one device but not another that worked will with my old tv, Should arc control the sound?”

YES, but it's not universal compatibility, in fact 2/3 soundbars that I own will not function in accordance with CEC standards, but finally after about a month I was able the retrieve my Samsung soundbar and wireless sub-woofer, and that setup does work perfectly with no TV on board sound, the volume on the remote operating the sound bar's volume, and the power on/off of the TV also turning on and off the TV.
