“I am still unable to get basic cable with this TV. All of my other TV's can get basic cable. It scans and finds 113 digital channels and 2 analog. Support is absolutely worthless.”

You will either need to run a coaxial to the tv from the cable coming in, sans box. OR use an antenna hooked up to the coaxial port on the tv to pull channels.
