Call Hisense customer service. I had a similar situation occur for my Apple TV 4k. Everyone, including Hisense told me ports 3 + 4. I tried high speed cables, and the works. NOthing worked. i even called Apple and complained. Called Hisense, gave them my serial number (Important) and the guy told me that they switched it to ports 1 + 2. He was able to look this up by my serial number. I was doubtful, but tried it. Boom! 4k HDR automatically switched. The rep was happy for me and said that serial numbers for this model, made AFTER a certain date (Forgive me, but I forgot), 4K is HDMI ports 1 +2. Hope this helps! Wish I would have known.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Netflix, Vudu, and all of the HDMI connections definitely upscale to 4k. However, only HDMI 3 and 4 play HDR content. To play HDR, you must have a HDMI 2.0 device (4K Blu Ray player, 4K Blu Ray Upscale player, Xbox One, or PS4 and you must connect these to your Hisense 4K TV using a HDMI 2.0 cable either to HDMI 3 or HDMI 4. Regular HDMI cables are 1.4 not 2.0 and will not play HDR content but they will upscale an outstanding picture. Best buy has a good Sony Blu Ray 4K upscale player for about $100. It will not play 4K Blu Ray disc, but your regular Blu Ray and Dvd movies will upscale and look great! I suggest you get one of those and a HDMI 2.0 cable. The cables are about $40.
