The depth of the TV, with the stand is 12.3". The TV itself is 3.1. So from front to back, the stand is 12.3 inches. As far as mounting to a universal stand, i haven't a clue what the answer to that is. If asking about a universal wall mount, yes this will work. most stands are specific to the model it was designed for. Wall mounts are universal because on the back of the TV the holes are where the arms go - all mounts work with bolt pattern, the stand at the bottom comes with the TV so you won't need another stand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The stand has two settings, you can put it on a table that is at least 48 inches, or the legs can spread out for the bigger table. The legs are 4-5 inches from the wall.
