• A:Answer I have both at home, U8H HDR will be brighter but dynamic tone mapping can close the gap on U7K. Get U7K if you are a hardcore gamer. PC at 144HZ is awesome. Get U8H for HDR movie content and slightly better sound system.

Q: QuestionWith the U8K model, the 55" and 65" versions use a VA panel, while the 75" version uses an IDS-ADS panel. I prefer the IDS-ADS panel, because of the superior viewing angles. Do any versions of the U7K or U6K use the IDS-ADS panel?

• A:Answer The Hisense 65u6k has an ips-ads panel. I have not researched the 55 inch version. I also have the Hisense 65u7k and when comparing the two side by side I noticed more light bleed on my 65u7k but the u7k is definitely the brighter panel. Both deliver nice picture quality.

Q: QuestionTwo questions, the picture seems very dark during any movies. I’ve tried different presets but it doesn’t seem to change the picture at all. Brightness is at 100 already. Any help? Also a lot of features in the settings say they “aren’t available”?

Q: QuestionIs the power cable 2 prong or 3 prong? I have a tv that is two prong that has a grounding hum with my surround sound setup. Our TV with a 3 prong power cable doesn't have this issue.

• A:Answer The U7 (like most modern TVs) uses a 2-prong power cable. A grounding hum can be due to multiple issues, and not always the lack of a plug with the extra grounding prong. The hum can be due to interference caused by an A/V cable (even HDMI), mismatched power requirements, a failing transformer, etc. From experience, audio equipment is much more susceptible to a grounding hum than TVs with built in speakers - regardless of the electrical plug.
