FYI as per HiSense Technical Support which I sent email to asking which screen sizes on US models use which panel : Case H2929622 Thank you for contacting Hisense Customer Support. We can confirm the Hisense model 85U8K does use the VA panel type along with all other sizes within the U8K series (85, 65 and 55) with exception to the 75" model which uses a IPS screen.

My understanding from reading rtings dot com review for U8K ( not sure if we are allowed to post links here, but you can find it via search ) is that only 75" is "ADS-PRO" panel while 55, 65, 85 and 100 are actually VA.
