“Visiting at a friends and turned the fan on. It seems to be "running through" different speeds. It blows hard for 3 seconds, blows medium for 3 seconds, then gets quiet for 3 seconds. Then blows hard, blows medium, gets quiet. Is this normal?”

The second button on the top is to have variable speeds running just in case that you don't want the full strength of air blowing. Just press the button a couple of times and you Will notice the led light on the top left comes off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only time the fan functions as described in the question is when it is on the 'breeze' setting. it is a nice feature if you want to control the amount of air circulating in the room. I use it as an option every now and then.
