Can you use a water conditioner in the water null

We do not recommend adding water conditioners, essential oils, or other additives directly into the water tank of the Homedics 60-Hour Top-Fill Warm and Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier. Doing so can affect the performance of the unit and may cause damage. For best results, we suggest using clean, cool tap water or distilled water, and if you’d like added protection against mineral buildup, you can use Homedics Demineralization Cartridges (sold separately).
