• A:Answer I would not use this machine if I was having a gout attack. It would not help the condition at all & would make the pain worse. Wait until the gout has subsided & then use the machine. There is a warning segment in the instruction booklet about using the machine with certain medical foot conditions. Tart cherries, tart cherry juice & tart cherry supplements are a natural remedy for gout. Also, look up & avoid those certain foods which can cause gout attacks.
