“The user manual states 'DO NOT USE DISTILLED water in this humidifer', can please share why? Most others humidifiers usually prefer distilled or purified only. Will using distilled/purified water ruin the device?”

Have you found anybody to answer your question? I just opened my product and the manual states the same it says do not use distilled water in this portable humidifier. I am also unsure why and would like to know why. Did you end up using tap or distilled?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When filling the tank, we recommend using clean, cool (not cold) water. I'm not able to find the statement you have mentioned in our instruction manual. However, we do say never add essential oils or any other additives to the water tank. Even a few drops will damage the product. The use of distilled water in this device, is perfectly acceptable.
