“I bought this model at BestBuy: Homedics UHE-CMTF45, and I love it, BUT... How do I clean scum out of the tube itself? There is definitely some in there, but I don't see any way to get at it w/o getting the electrics wet. The manual for this is silent.”

We recommend using equal parts of vinegar and water in the tank and then allow the product to mist up the tube. This will help to keep the tube clean.
