You may also need something to use to hold the plexiglass in the screen frame. Then you need to open the window when you use the air conditioner..

They generate a lot of heat in the motor and have a fan to blow the hot air through the tube out a window. The only way to cool a room without windows is to have central air, like in most houses, that has the air conditioning unit outside, and a vent in the wall that tunnels the cool air into the room.
