• Yes you can set a desired temperature and the units temperature controls are very accurate!!

• It has a simple temperature setting. I programmed the temperature to 73 degrees and it turns on when it dips below that temperature in the room, obviously ambient temperature closest to the unit. Can be manipulated via remote as well.

• Yes. When you turn it on it defaults to around 65 degrees but you can crank it up however high you desire
