• Yes, you can! If you are running this unit strictly on dehumidifier mode we recommend uninstalling the window exhaust hose and attaching a hose to the upper drain plug for continuous drainage. • No, the unit sits in the middle of the floor so you will not have anywhere for it to drain to continually.

• The manufacturer states to turn the unit off before draining for cool mode, but I don't see why you couldn't do that.
