“I have a model that I bought in 2017. It's not cooling the 450 sq. ft room like it used to and it's getting louder. We have cleaned the filter every 3 or 4 days. What is the warranty on it or do I have to shell out 350 or 400 for a new one now?”

You can take the back of the unit off with just a screw driver. And clean out all the gunk. That will surely help. Helped mine a lot until my compressor went out at 6 years old.
