Of course it’ll make some noise. But in my opinion, it’s not overly loud. I sleep just fine with it running. It’s as loud as a normal AC I’d say. Hope that helps.

I have this unit in my home office which is upstairs in a bonus room. It is quite loud. I have to turn it off sometimes before getting on a call. I just hope the calls do not last long :) It's also a little strange on the temperature controls. I can set it to 72 and It will go all the way up to 76-77, but then come back down. I've doubled check the instructions and seems to be setup correctly. It's a great unit for the price though.

It isn't load - I haven't had any issues w/ sound being a problem.

It is not loud at all , of course you can hear it running but sleeping with it on is no problem.
