HI Magda, Honeywell Portable Air Coolers do not require complicated installation. After removing from the package, read the instruction manual for placement recommendations. You then fill the water tank with water, plug it in and turn it on. Please note that evaporative air coolers are not air conditioners as they do not have a compressor and do not use refrigerant gas to cool a room like an air conditioner. They are a low-energy cooling option using the natural process of evaporation to cool the air - similar to a fan but with the added feature of water evaporation. They work best in warm, dry locations.
