“This humidifier started leaking water from the base not the tank after 3 months. The stopper works fine on tank itself. It was working great. Any ideas on how to fix?”

Hi Heather.. I included a Youtube link in my first response but realized it was against the guidelines, so I'll post again just in case without the link.. I was having the same problem and it wasn't under warranty. So I fixed it myself. If you want to do the same, it's nothing to do with the tank.. at least the issue I had. And if it's leaking from the base as you say, it's likely the same issue I had. I made a Youtube video showing how I fixed it. Just look up 'fix HUL430' and you should find my video. Hope it helps!
