Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this heater does not have teflon in it , but I cannot be 100% sure. Having owned birds in the past (canary and finches) I do feel for your concerns.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't answer that. But I did notice that ceramic coated cookware is safer to use around birds than teflon and this heater is ceramic. I would google the make and model and look it up if I were you. I do know this compact little heater puts out lots of heat and is great and seems to heat my desk area at work even more than the tower heater I had been using.
