“Does this ceramic heater have anything in its construction that could ignite gasoline vapor from the vehicles in my unheated garage? I really don't want to burn down my garage just to be comfortable working out there in the winter!”

Thank you for your inquiry. While this heater does not create any sparks, the heating element runs very hot and we cannot advise running this unit in an area with combustible vapors.
