• A.) Thank you for your heater inquiry. This Honeywell heater is not equipped Tipover Switch. However, this heater is equipped with several devices and features for added protection: - Cool Touch housing and handle that remains cool to the touch even when the heater is on, - 3x Overheat Protection, – 2 overheat sensors and back-up cut off fuse, - Thermal insulated wiring, - Reinforced wire connections, - High temp plastic. • Hi StormGirl! Because this unit has two options for placement (standing upright or on side) it does not come equipped with a auto off when triggered, however this unit does have an auto shut off if the unit over heats. Hope this helps!

• You can set it so if you leave it on it will shut off automatically. I have never dropped it so that I cannot answer but I really like it.
