“Can this unit work in an area with no windows? I am converting a 8 ft by 10 ft shed into a music room. It will be a fairly tight insulated room with now windows. Can the hotter air be vented out with this unit?”

• No. The directions specifically say to place it near an open window and to have cross ventilation for best results.

• This is not an air conditioners so no hot air is produced. It may create too much humidity in a small space if you cannot open a window or a door and circulate air.

• You do not need to vent this unit. I use it in my Music room. I have very good guitars. They do need some humidity to survive. Nels...

• You can crack the door open, but you must have airflow in order for unit to operate properly.
