“Does this work with multiple heat sources I have a pellet stove that runs a separate thermostat and then I have my furnace for secondary heat. Is this thermostat capable of running both systems and have a setting that if the pellet stove were to run out of pellets and the inside temperature was to drop below say 64 degrees then the gas furnace would kick on as a backup.”

• No. It can only control one heat source and one cooling source.

• Not a chance off that happening. You have a very non standard set up and that requires a custom application.
