A:Answer It does not come with an outdoor temperature sensor, but can use its WiFi connection to determine your location and access some weather source to get a local outside temperature. During initial setup, you will have the option to select multistage cooling and heating systems. I can't remember if there was a limit to the number it can control, but I know its compatible with emergency heat as that's how I have it set up.
