Hi, Evaporative Air Coolers do not need to be vented like a Portable Air Conditioner. In fact you can just remove this unit from the box, fill with water and ice, and plug-in to begin using. Air Coolers need to be cross ventilated by having a window or door open in the room where the unit is located. It is also important to note that these units are recommended for use in dry areas where the humidity is less than 60%. You can attach a garden hose to this unit for continuous water supply so that you will not need to manually refill it. Thanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is very simple to install/use. You fill the water unit and plug it in. No venting, no window attachments, no hoses necessary. I refill mine every morning and it runs on average of 8-10 hours per day. There is a water level float that lets you know when the water needs to be filled. It rolls easily on tile floor but when full it is a little harder to roll on the carpet. You have the option to hook a hose to it but it is not necessary if you are willing to fill it on occasion pay attention to your water level.
