At the high heat setting 1500 watts it draws about 12 amps. Depending on the capacity of your electrical system you will have to be careful about overloading the circuit it uses with other electric appliances along with knowing the amperage of the supply to your RV. For example if you were driveway camping on a 15 amp circuit this one heater would use most of your available amps and could cause an overheated extension cord if combined with another high wattage device running at the same time.
