There are many complaints about this in reviews on various sites. I've found the problem to be in the connection between the handle and the vacuum body. If you remove the one bolt that holds the handle onto the body, you may see the same thing. The bolt is behind the accessory tool on the back side of the handle. Remove the accessory tool and bolt. Turn the vacuum to the on position. If it doesn't turn on, pull up on the handle slightly as if you are removing the handle. You will find the vacuum turns on. Push back down on the handle and it shuts off. There is a flaw in the way the handle attaches to the body. If you remove the handle completely, you'll see 3 prongs inside the end of the handle. These prongs insert into a 3 hole receptor on the body. I used needle nose pliers to gently/slightly bend each of the 3 prongs. This has solved the problem for now. I'm still looking for a permanent fix.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
