• The suction is great so it should get in-between the planks. I have all wood floors-along with an area rug and tiles-and it gets up dirt I didn't know was there. Hope my answer is helpful.

• Probably not, but I did run on over linoleum that has groves and it did pick up stuff.

• Yes, the bristles are long enough to easily pick up anything in grooves and the suction make the floor spotless!

• I love the bare floor attachment. It gets my tile floors really well, including next to the baseboards.

• Yes. It self adjusts automatically to any surface. You can feel it draw a suction on bare wood/ laminate flooring.
