Are you using Hoover's cleaning solution with the proper dilution? It's always a good idea to stick with the recommended products, especially if the warranty is still in effect. If you are, I would recommend trying to run a cycle using only the hottest water you can get from the faucet without solution to see if that will unclog the ports. Failing that, contact Hoover support.
